UGO
In a world where domestic violence prevention and survivor-centered responses are persistently challenged, it has become crucial to bring people together. This 2nd UGO international conference is expected to attract 1,000+ delegates from 120+ countries living in a context of domestic violence and sexual assault to dream, share, and gather to tackle the pressing issues of violence prevention, survivor support, and systems change. In addition to presentations by internationally renowned researchers, this conference recognizes the expertise of those who work directly with children, women & men living with domestic violence and sexual assault, and features presentations by those who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. It proposes an innovative approach for understanding the situation of men, women & children living with domestic violence & sexual assault, focusing on their experiences and perspectives, as well as on their rights and participation in the development of policies and practices.
